BSNL will set up 25000 WiFi hotspot

BSNL has dealt with the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) on Friday to set up 25,000 WiFi hotspots in the rural areas exchanges.


A statement issued by BSNL said that these hotspots will be planted in the next six months. For this, finance will be provided through the USO fund. At the same time, the government will bear its capital expenditure and operating expenses (OPOX). The cost of this project is 940 crores.
